Britain in Colour, narrated by Stephen Mangan

Smithsonian Channel is set to soon roll out the third season of America in Colour as well as the first season of Britain in Colour.

The six new episodes of America in Colour explore such themes as the changing roles of the American worker, immigration and the enduring values of small-town America. The three-episode debut season of Britain in Colour brings to life the British Empire, the royal family and Winston Churchill.

The season premiere of America in Colour, “Coming to America,” sees millions of immigrants arriving in search of the American dream from the turn of the century through the 1960s. It will be available to stream on Smithsonian Channel’s YouTube page beginning Sunday, November 10. “Royalty,” the Britain in Colour premiere episode, features the earliest existing footage of Queen Victoria before her death in 1901.

Britain in Colour debuts Tuesday 29th October at 8pm on Smithsonian, narrated by Stephen Mangan.
