NEW VOICES AT UNITED VOICES

We are delighted to welcome the following new voices to the United team!

 

Nima Taleghani

Nima Taleghani was born and brought up in North London. He most recently performed in the Olivier award winning ‘Cyrano De Bergerac’ at the Playhouse Theatre in the West End. He has many credits across television and stage, and has run workshops that emphasis on empowering young people to find Shakespeare accessible and combat elitism.

His voice is perfect for spoken word briefs.

 

James Cooney

James Cooney is an English-Filipino actor and voice over artist from Manchester. TV and Film credits include: Ollie in Strangeways Here We Come (Oh My Productions), Cushy (Second Shot Productions), Doctors (BBC) and Vic/Tim (NFTS). In 2013, he was nominated for an Off West End Award for Best Actor for his performance in BOTTLENECK. 

His voice is conversational, engaging and friendly.

 

Isobel Laidler

Isobel Laidler is a Cambridge University graduate. The young up-and-coming actor is best known for starring as ‘Queen Kalis of Lyria’ in Netflix fantasy series The Witcher, she also has appeared on stage productions such as ‘Posh’ (Oxford Playhouse) and ‘King Lear’ (The Hayward Society).

Her voice is engaging, friendly and soft.

 

Edward Hayter

Edward Hayter is a British actor with multiple credits across the stage and screen. He is known for his roles in To Dream (Anamolay Cinema), Will (Amazon) and Burning Men (Burning Man Pictures).

His voice is clear, cool, and rich

 

David Elliot

David Elliot is a Scottish actor. David won Best Film Actor at the BAFTA Scotland Awards 2015 for his lead role in KAJAKI. He starred in THE INLAND ROAD which premiered at the 2017 Berlin Film Festival.He can most recently be seen as a regular role in THE CRY for BBC One. 

David has a rich and smooth voice
